Jetson setup

First, secure your fan to the Jetson.

  1. Place fan on top of the heatsink. Orient fan so that the airflow blows away 🌬 from the heatsink (see diagram on fan ). This will work with the PSU fan in the enclosure.

  2. Secure fan to heatsink using the 4 rubber strips provided (these work as vibration dampers). You could use 4 nylon cable ties for a temporary fix.

  3. Plug fan into Jetson board using the 4 pin connector

Next, attach the Adafruit GPS 📡

  1. Connect the USB Micro-B adaptor to the Ultimate GPS, then plug USB-A into a spare port

  2. If using the optional external GPS antenna, clip the uFL connecto to the GPS board then attach the antenna (shown below).

  3. The ultimate GPS has a mount for CR1220 3v battery which helps the unit maintain it's state. The mount will need to be soldered to the bottom of the board [optional but recommended]

Finally, plug the storage 🏬 into a spare USB port on the Jetson.
